Gifts that Keep on Giving to the Bottom Line

Every fall, companies gather 'round the conference table for the annual, "What are we going to do for our holiday gift" meeting. These meetings start with a similar goal: to give a small (but not too small) trinket as a token of appreciation and goodwill. And to remember your company as the new year and new budgets begin. Unfortunately they generally come to a conclusion consisting of some combination of a card, calendar, mug, etc.
So as service to all those recipients, here are a few holiday ideas that will make a difference for your clients:
Holiday Emails and Games
An email that says "Happy Holidays" is one that gets opened, and lingered on. It's a nice companion to your print cards, and reminds your audience to keep opening your emails, because you're nice enough to send one that's not "about" marketing - just about having a happy holiday season.
But as you think beyond the holiday wishes and into the behavior of office workers during the holiday season, it's easy to see the downtime. Office parties and lunches, some people in the office, some on vacation.
Next: Exactly the time to send them a game.
